ABC has confirmed that 9-1-1 will return for an eighth season. More than 11 million people viewed the season 7 premiere of the series, and it would become the highest-rated multiplatform program for adults 18-49 in two years. After six seasons of success on Fox, 9-1-1 moved to ABC. The all-star cast including Angela Bassett, Peter Krause and Jennifer Love Hewitt is now the most-watched series on all platforms this season.
