Simpson’s official cause of death was announced on Friday. Simpson Estate executor Malcolm LaVergne told The Hollywood Reporter that the former NFL running back died on April 10th from metastatic prostate cancer. Simpson, who was 76, shared on social media he had been diagnosed with the disease last year. The Football Hall Famer turned sports commentator and actor was cremated in Las Vegas, where he had been living and there was a private gathering of friends and relatives. There will be no public memorial for ‘The Juice”.
