Apple Could Owe You Money If You Had An iPhone 7

by

FILE – In this Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, file photo, a customer sets up his new iPhone 7 Plus, right, as he switches from the iPhone 6 at the Apple Store on Michigan Avenue during the release of the Apple iPhone 7 and the latest Apple Watches, in Chicago. Apple has settled a lawsuit from former iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus owners to the tune of $35 million. The lawsuit was due to various audio issues from the iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus, but Apple didn’t offer to repair the phones for free. In order to claim a portion of the $35 million settlement, you had to have owned an iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus between September 2016 and January 2023. Additionally, you had to have reported an audio chip issue to Apple, who will have record of the report if you contacted the company about it. You have until June 3, 2024 to file a claim.
