I love this show! Yes Empire is number but Power is also one of my favorites!
Season one of the Starz original series “Power” left Tasha (Naturi Naughton) in a bit of a quandary.
She’s been her husband’s biggest cheerleader regarding his drug operation, accustomed to the lavish lifestyle that it brings, but cheating on her was never part of the plan.
What’s a woman scorned to do in Season 2? Keep quiet and remain in the lifestyle she is accustomed to, or blow up his entire spot – drug operation and all – as punishment for his infidelity?
“Well, it’s an interesting thing because I always wanted to explore with the character of Tasha what it is when you make a man your job. Like, in other words, how you support yourself is literally your relationship,” says series creator and executive producer Courtney Kemp Agboh. “And if your relationship falls apart, then you have other considerations, which are ‘How do I support my kids, how do I support myself?’” Season begins June 6 at 8 PM on Starz.
