Mystikal released from prison after posting bond. Louisiana rapper Mystikal has been released from jail after posting a $3 million bond in his rape case. Mystikal was arrested in August of 2017 on charges of first-degree rape and kidnapping.
Mystikal, who has spent the last 18 months in jail, was able to get the money from an advance on a new record deal along with help from friends and family.
Mystikal’s legal team is confident that a settlement will be reached, his trial is set for May.
