As we prepare for Verzuz tonight night between Monica and Brandy, old video clips of the two have resurfaced online. In one clip from 2012 the two were doing a joint interviewed when Brandy was asked what is her favorite song from Monica’s catalog. ‘Angel’ from the first album. I don’t know if you remember but I use to sing that song all the time. Monica responded, I don’t even remember the words to that song. Monica said she was 12 years old when she recorded it. Apparently Brandy has a great memory because Monica said when they have performed together Brandy always has to help her remember the words. Monica was not shy to admit that she has to read the teleprompter during some performances to remember the words. I admit I’m more like Monica and will forget the words or script in a minute…lol Which artist are you most excited to see during the Verzuz battle?
