Another history-making moment for Vice President Kamala Harris. On Saturday, Harris and her husband, second gentleman Doug Emhoff, marched in the Capital Pride Walk in Washington, D.C., a first for a Vice President in office. Harris wore a shirt that read, “Love is Love” while Emhoff’s said, “Love First.” The vice president also called for the government to pass the Equality Act, which would ensure federal protections for LGBT people.
