Jay-Z is stepping in to help Phoenix couple who were aggressively arrested by police after their daughter accidentally walked out of a Dollar Store with a doll they hadn’t payed for. The arrest was recorded in which the video went viral. The cop was seen drawing a gun on the pregnant mother, Iesha Harper, demanding she put her one-year old daughter that she was holding down on the ground.
Roc Nation’s Managing Director of Philanthropy, Dania Diaz, explained, “There is no place for that behavior in our world – let alone our justice system – and we are calling for the immediate termination of the police officers in question. We are committed to supporting the family to ensure that justice is served.”
