Chris Brown is currently serving 90 days of court ordered rehab, but the singer will be allowed to leave to participate in a good cause this weekend.
TMZ reports Brown was granted permission to leave the lock-down facility in California for a few hours on Sunday, so he can host a charity toy drive with girlfriend, Karreuche Tran in Los Angeles.
The upcoming event, which is organized by Brooklyn Projects, encourages people to bring unwrapped gifts for underprivileged kids. The first 100 guests will receive free shirts from Brown’s clothing company, Black Pyramid.
As previously reported, a judge revoked Brown’s probation stemming from his 2009 attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna, after the singer was arrested on assault charges in Washington, D.C. in October.
Brown is due in court in D.C. in January, and then again in Los Angeles in February.
