ABC/Randy HolmesJohn Legend will be kicking off Game 1 of the NBA finals tonight. The singer is scheduled to sing the national anthem, live from the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
The NBA announced today that the Grammy winner will perform prior to the start of Game 1 of the finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, live on ABC at 9 p.m. ET.
Legend is currently on tour supporting his #FREEAMERICA campaign that visits prisons, jails and immigration detention centers. He’s also prepping a new album.
