Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have decided they don’t belong together with their mansion in L.A.’s swanky Bel Air neighborhood. The celebrity real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that they’ve put the property on the market for $12,995,000.
The couple purchased the property back in 2009 for a paltry $6,975,000, so if they can sell it for the asking price, they’ll make a nice profit. The sprawling mansion has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms over 11,750 square feet, and features such amenities as a home theater, his and hers walk in closets, a family room with a built-in bar and huge fireplace, a game room, a music room and a double-height half-court basketball court.
Outside, the couple’s property features a swimming pool, cabana, spacious lawns, a putting green and a gazebo; in other words, plenty of room for twins Monroe and Moroccan to play.
According to the blog, Mariah and Nick also own a place in the Bahamas, and a New York City triplex. It predicts that the couple may not be leaving L.A., but may simply be in the market for something even more lavish. You can see the photos of Mariah and Nick’s place over on Real Estalker.
