It seems Mariah Carey’s daughter may share her mother’s musical talent. At least, she likes to sing along to her mom’s new album, Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse.
Mariah has posted an Instagram video of her bespectacled three-year-old, Monroe, singing one of the album’s tracks, “Supernatural,” from her baby seat in the back of a car. Mommy is sitting next to Monroe, helping her with the words.
Mariah captioned the video, “Check out dembabies musical debut on Me. I am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse!”
Monroe surely knows the lyrics by heart, since she’s featured on the album version, along with her twin brother, Moroccan.
Me. I am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse was released last Tuesday. It could enter the Billboard 200 album chart next week at #3, according to the publication, with 55 thousand to 60 thousand copies sold. That would be her lowest sales debut for a non-holiday studio album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991.
