Report: Robin Thicke Threatens to Sue Over Three-Way Allegations

by

PressHereNow.comRobin Thicke is reportedly ready to file lawsuits against media outlets for suggesting that he and his wife decided to split after a three-way relationship went sour.

According to the New York Post‘s Page Six, Robin’s lawyer Howard E. King sent warnings to two magazines —  Star and OK! — for recently reporting that Thicke and now-estranged wife Paula Patton were involved in a consensual relationship with a masseuse named Jasmine, which ended after Paula purportedly discovered Thicke and the masseuse were carrying on a separate affair.

According to the Post, King’s letter to the publications read, “On behalf of Mr. Thicke, as well as [the alleged masseuse], we categorically deny every assertion of fact posited in your email [asking for comment] and are certain there can be no reliable, trustworthy source of any such story, given its gross deviation from the truth. Any purported source of such a story is lying.”

King’s letter continues to accuse the publications of publishing a “blatantly false story” without attempting to investigate the truth while relying on a “flimsy source.”  This, he suggests, will be enough to allow him to succeed in suing the magazines for a substantial damage award.

Earlier this year, Thicke and Patton issued a joint statement explaining that they’d decided to separate after nearly ten years of marriage. Robin has publicly said that he’s working on reconciling with Patton, to whom he has dedicated various songs for during his recent concerts.
