Well, it looks like Levar Burton will not be the new host of Jeopardy, as so many people had hoped. There are reports that Jeopardy! is in negotiations to sign Mike Richards as the next permanent host. Mike Richards is already part of the show. He serves as an executive producer. As Variety says, he is in “advanced negotiations to take over the quiz show.” He’s been a producer of Jeopardy!, The Price is Right, Let’s Make a Deal, and Wheel of Fortune. He’s also been nominated for 17 Daytime Emmys and has won three. Do you think he would be a great replacement? Some people are already speaking out about Levar Burton not being the new host.
