In case you missed it the new HBO documentary ‘”Say Her Name: The Life & Death Of Sandra Bland”, examines the life and death of Sandra Bland. The 28-year-old black woman from Chicago was arrested July 2015 for a minor traffic violation. Three days later we learned that she was dead in her jail cell. Her family wanted answers from authorities and the answers didn’t make sense. The HBO film team followed the case for two-years beginning shortly after Sandra Bland’s death trying to get answers to question about what really happened to her. Three years later the family of Sandra Bland and the filmmakers want to ensure that we continue the discussion about her treatment by police.
