In order to be recognized for ‘Album of the Year’ honors, a recipient must be part of at least 20 percent of an album’s creation. Previously, any producers, songwriters, engineers and other featured artists just had to contribute to one song on an album featuring ten tracks or more in order to be recognized with ‘Album of the Year’ honors.
