I love that Tyler Perry is always willing to share his knowledge when it comes to his experiences in the movie business. He said the difference between working in the South, and working in Hollywood is in the South, people will tell you they don’t like your ass, but it Hollywood people are not as straight forward.
He says Hollywood has so much madness, that they will talk you out of believing in your instincts. He was encouraging everybody no matter what type of work you do to not let other’s tell you your GOD given instinct is.
I tell you that I really needed to hear that today, because my prayer’s over the last 2 weeks have been, what to do next. What’s the next project, is it time to write my book, do I save or spend (honestly I know saving is always best, and I already know the answer to that! lol). Now I know to just stay on course, and the opportunities, the encouragement, the friendships will all come!
