Fantasia just can’t seem to get her finances in order. She has faced numerous lawsuits lately and saved her North Carolina home from foreclosure only to default on her home loan, forcing the bank to seize it. And now, the IRS has hit her with a federal tax lien for failure to pay nearly $100,000 in back taxes.
According to court documents obtained by thejasminebrand.com, Uncle Sam placed the lien on Fantasia and on May 1st in a California court. Fantasia allegedly owes $92,837 in federal income taxes, according to the lien. The IRS will begin seizing Fantasia’s assets and property if she doesn’t pay up.
