Tamar Braxton received an outpouring of love from the entertainment community following her recent suicide attempt. Mariah Carey, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and Viola Davis all shared social media posts supporting the singer.
“Praying for Tamar Braxton. Mental Health has got to be a part of our “wokeness.” There is strength in vulnerability. You matter Miss Tamar Braxton. Praying for you, your beautiful son and family,” tweeted Viola Davis.
Mariah Carey tweeted her prayers and love for Braxton, while Tameka “Tiny” Harris shared a photo of her and Tamar with the caption, “We love u [sic] lady.”
Tamar was found unresponsive by her boyfriend, David Adefeso, around 9:45 PM at the Ritz-Carlton Residences on July 16th. She had taken prescription pills and had been drinking. She was rushed to the hospital where she’s currently in stable condition.
