Many of us were disappointed when we heard The State Fair of Texas was cancelled due to COVID-19. Well we can rejoice a little bit because we can still get a little taste of Big Tex and the State Fair of Texas. For the first time in it’s 134 year history, The State Fair of Texas will hold a special event called “Big Tex Fair Food Drive-Thru…It will give us a opportunity to take pictures with Big Tex and sample some of that scandalous State Fair Food. It will be held on September 19th and 20th. Yummy… Some of the proceeds will benefit The North Texas Food Bank.
