Oprah Winfrey introduced the mainstream world to Dr. Oz back in 2004 on her Oprah Winfrey Show. Dr. Oz’s show debuted in 2009 and was done through Oprah’s Harpo Productions. Fast forward to 2021 and Dr. Oz is running for the open US Senate representing the state of Pennsylvania. During a fundraiser in New York City, Dr Oz told the intimate group that included Rudy Giuliani, that Oprah would not be involved in his Senate race. According to attendees he said, I asked her to stay out. Don’t support me because if you get involved in any way, you’ll get hurt and I don’t want my friends hurt.
