If you have an annual Amazon Prime membership it’s going to cost you a little more. Today it was announced that Amazon will be raising the price of its annual Prime membership by $20. The company says that the reason behind the price hike is “expanded Prime membership benefits” like Prime Video and expanded next-day shipping and the cost of workers and supplies in its network. Now for an annual subscription, the cost will go from $119 to $139 a year. A monthly subscription will go from $12.99 a month to $14.99 a month. This new price scale will begin on February 18 for new Prime members and on March 25 for existing members. How much do you rely on Amazon? Will this price hike cause you to not be a member anymore?
