According to The Minneapolis Star Tribune, a petition signed by more than 6,000 has been delivered to local and state officials regarding ‘properly investigating Prince’s death’. The fans behind the ‘wrongful death’ petition are in hopes that the District of Minnesota will convene a grand jury to further investigate the singer’s death.
One fan, Nicole Welage, specifically told The Star Tribune, “He led a clean life, and he’s being completely painted as a drug overdose — another Elvis. We don’t believe that’s what happened.”
