WNBA star Brittney Griner has been detained after Russian airport officials said they found hashish oil in her luggage according to New York Times. The Russian Federation Custom Services said Saturday that officials had detained an American Basketball Player at Sheremetyevo airport near Moscow. Brittney was born in Houston, play for the Baylor Lady Bears, is a three-time All American, has won two Olympic gold medals and is a seven-time WNBA All-Star center for the Phoenix Mercury. Reports show the 31-year-old, who plays basketball in Russia in the off-season was arrested last month. We are praying for her safe return to the United States.
