Looks like a much-hyped rematch between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield won’t be happening after all. Holyfield’s camp said Monday “We thought this was a done deal but it quickly fell apart when Tyson’s people declined all offers”. Tyson reportedly turned down $25 million for the fight, which would be a rematch of the infamous 1997 bout that ended when Tyson bit off a chunk of Holyfield’s ear. Meanwhile, Tyson recently announced he’d be returning to the ring in May in Miami – but hasn’t mentioned who his opponent will be. Were you hoping for a Tyson-Holyfield rematch, or are you glad it’s not happening?
