TMZ caught up with Aretha Franklin’s niece, Sabrina Owens. Sabrina said the family was disappointed Jennifer Hudson did not receive an Oscar nomination for the movie, Respect. She said the film was Aretha’s ‘baby’ and she as heavily involved in it when she was alive. Sabrina said he aunt was a perfectionist and would have liked to see her work receive a nomination.
